Why the Duggars are not a Green catastrophe

Journalist Robert Walker was describing the overpopulation problem:

If population continues to rise, but resource availability declines, we could be headed for disaster. It's not a question of whether Michelle Duggar and her husband can care for another child. The bigger, and more urgent, question is, "Can our planet handle an additional 2.5 billion humans by mid-century?"

As Americans, we have been raised to believe that bigger is always better. And maybe that's why "18 kids and Counting" has been such popular show. But in a world beset by critical environmental challenges and a shrinking resource base, bigger is not better. It is, in fact, a whole lot worse.

And here's my reply:

The Duggars are producing responsible, well-trained, happy children with IQs over 120.

The third world will produce more than ten times as many children, but they'll have IQs in the mid to low 90s, be impoverished, uneducated and probably hate the rest of us for having more than they.

Perhaps the future of avoiding overpopulation is more Michelle Duggar and less third world aid.

I realize you cannot mention this in your article because it's taboo, but being dishonest has always caused humanity problems, don't you agree?

I guess my point to Mr. Walker is this -- most human endeavors on this earth fail, so why do we get upset if one of the ones that's succeeding breeds a little more? Isn't that how we got here, the smart prosperous apes outbreeding the slackers?

Well, let's not panic and drop the phone. Stop third world aid. Stop aid to the impoverished. Keep encouraging the Duggars and their ilk to have as many kids as they want. The IQ and health of the average human being on earth will keep rising that way.

God wants you to own guns and swords

Exodus 22:2-3 tells us "If the thief is found breaking in, and he is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt for his bloodshed. If the sun has risen on him, there shall be guilt for his bloodshed. He should make full restitution; if he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft."

We must also consider what Christ told his disciples in his last hours with them: "...But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a sack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one" (Luke 22:36). Keep in mind that the sword was the finest offensive weapon available to an individual soldier -- the equivalent then of a military rifle today.

The Israelite army was a militia army (Numbers 1:3, ff.) which came to battle with each man bearing his own weapons -- from the time of Moses, through the Judges, and beyond. When threatened by the Midianites, for example, "Moses spoke to the people , saying, 'Arm some of yourselves for the war, and let them go against the Midianites to take vengeance for the Lord on Midian'" (Numbers 31:3).

Again, to demonstrate the Biblical heritage of individuals bearing and keeping arms, during David's time in the wilderness avoiding capture by Saul, "David said to his men, 'Every man gird on his sword.' So every man girded on his sword, and David also girded on his sword" (1 Samuel 25:13).

Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built (Nehemiah 4:17-18).

Interesting collection of words. Christians need a jihad of their own.

Rand Paul money bomb in Kentucky

I got this from the Ron Paul mailing list -- as longtime readers of this blog know, I'm on mailing lists from the far-left to the far-right.

Don’t forget that our grassroots Rand Paul money bomb is on Wednesday September 23rd.

The status quo GOP establishment is trying to tip the scales in Kentucky because Rand Paul and Trey Grayson are neck and neck in their primary.

These twenty three US Senators, seventeen of whom voted for the bankster bailout, will be slugging back champagne and caviar while they raise money for their status quo pick on this same date.

We the people can donate any amount on Wednesday. Every single donation, no matter how big or small, will help by showing that Rand Paul has more donors. The media will often reference this number.

Send the DC insiders packing on Wednesday.

Donate whatever you can at the official campaign site starting at 12:01 AM tonight! (Or at anytime on the 23rd.)

Good luck to 'em. Time for some real diversity in American politics... which is deconstruction, and hopefully will be followed by construction, or consensus.

Bill White of is out of jail

While I don't agree with his politics, or his methods, I feel Bill White got railroaded.

The American justice system, out of fear for what white nationalists might do to the Obama election, jailed William A. White on nonsense charges. His crime: publishing the addresses of jurors and others.

Were they ever in danger? No, they were not.

It's a slippery slope when we start attacking our political enemies with jail time and can't admit that's what we're doing. (It's far healthier to be honest about all things.)

In the meantime, Bill White is out of jail:

A neo-Nazi leader was released from jail Friday after a psychiatrist testified that he is not the threat to the Roanoke community that federal prosecutors have argued.

William A. White walked free for the first time since October after U.S. District Court Judge James Turk decided to grant him bond. White, the head of a Roanoke-based white supremacy group, is charged with threatening people by e-mail, telephone and online.

White will be placed on home electronic monitoring and can only leave his Roanoke apartment under certain conditions, such as to meet with his attorneys or attend to his duties as the landlord of about 15 rental homes in the West End neighborhood.

White was charged in October with encouraging violence against the foreman of a Chicago jury that convicted a fellow white supremacist. Federal prosecutors argued he meant the man harm when he posted his name, address and telephone numbers on a Web site that attracted a racist and sometimes violent audience.

But a federal judge in Chicago ruled that White's actions did not present an imminent threat, and thus were protected by the First Amendment.

Allahu Ackbar! Fearless Iranians From Hell

Do you want to piss off your parents, teachers, co-workers and authority figures? The only way to make someone that angry is to violate something they hold sacred because they're afraid of the alternative. The industrialized world is scared shitless of Islamic fundamentalism because these people believe so much in their religion that they're willing to die for it. We can't compete with that -- we're too eager to get back to the sofa, Wii, cable TV and pizza you can order through the internet.

Back in the late 1980s, there was this band from Texas that said they were Iranians who supported the jihadi theocracy. They endorsed terrorism, book burning, dope smoking and endless war against the USA. This band was called the Fearless Iranians From Hell. If you like skatethrash like Cryptic Slaughter, Dead Horse or Suicidal Tendencies, check out this review with sound samples, tracklist and Koranic quotations.
